Large Christmas Bulb
Lights
- Safety Tips
Large Christmas bulb lights are often run outdoors for the benefit of those passing by or inside the house hung on a Christmas tree. And since it involves electrical connections, possible hazards should be anticipated. Well, you don’t have to let fear overpower the bliss of the Christmas season. Here are some tips on how you can prevent short-circuiting and overheating from spoiling your Christmas.
Each of the large Christmas bulb lights of C-sets has an EMF of seven watts. But the lights also come in other shapes and colors like m&m Christmas lights. These Christmas lights can flicker in unison or individually twinkle, the choice of which depends on your design plan.
When taking the large Christmas lights out from safekeeping, untangle the wire strands carefully. Make sure that all the wires are insulated and the large bulbs are in tack in their bases. Then check the individual bulbs with a tester to ensure that each will function well. In a series connection, if one bulb is missing or ruined, all the rest in that strand will not light up. A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) should be installed in your outlet. This device will detect leakages that escape even the circuit breakers. And then, avoid circuit overload. Every circuit has its load limit, plugging in more than its capacity causes the overheating.
It has been a long time tradition that during Christmas season, ornaments and lights turn a neighborhood into a big candy land. And to be sure that what you see are flickers and not fire, take note of the precautionary measures in installing the Christmas lights.
